Force Air 96% AFUE Efficient Furnace Systems
The Federal tax credit allows homeowners who install any qualifying 95% AFUE efficient force air furnace to receive up to $1,500 in tax credits. This is a great incentive to finally get rid of that loud and potentially hazardous old furnace you've been meaning to replace. Change out to a new energy efficient furnace and improve the comfort of your home all while saving some bucks.

Tankless Water Heater Rebates & Tax Credits
The Federal tax credit allows homeowners who install any qualifying models of tankless on demand water heater to claim 30% of the full purchase and installation price up to a maximum of $1500. In order to take advantage of the one-time Federal tax credit, homeowners must install a qualifying unit in 2009 or 2010, and claim it on their 2009 or 2010 Federal income tax forms, respectively. The maximum amount a taxpayer may claim for all qualifying energy efficient home improvements including the purchase and installation of an on demand tankless water heater is $1,500 over the lifetime of the credit (2009-2010). As required by law, please keep your receipt(s) of purchase/installation and print out the Manufacturer's Certification document below for tax record purposes.

General Toilet Qualifications:
Any toilet that is pre-1992 or 3.5 gpf or greater should qualify
Client must be part of Soquel Creek Water, Santa Cruz Water, or Scotts Valley Water District
Payment to water district is up to date
Rebate Amount:
Rebate amounts are credited off of your up to date water bill, not off of the invoiced amount.
Soquel Creek = $250
Scotts Valley Water District = Up to $200 (more in so cases)
Santa Cruz Water = $150
Avaliable Toilets:
We carry a full line of high efficiency (HET), low flow, power flush, and ADA toilets by Toto, ProFlow, Kohler, and American Standard. Give us and we'll help you choose the right one.
Process:
1. Bellows Plumbing & Heating carries a line of HET toilets, client can select a toilet to have installed. The material and labor amount will be paid to Bellows Plumbing & Heating at the time service is completed.
2. The technician will break out labor and material on the invoice and indicate what type of toilet was removed and replaced.
3. The client will then fill out a rebate form and send to the water district.
4. The water district will credit that rebate amount from the client’s water bill.
