Features

Because the kitchen and bathroom are a demanding environment, Kohler faucets are constructed from solid brass and zinc die-cast for years of exceptional performance. Using only brass and zinc: these materials provide greater strength and durability than any others.

Kohler kitchen and lavatory faucets are offered in a rich palette of KOHLER colors, as well as in polished and authentic hand-brushed textures. Ceramic disc valves in KOHLER faucets control the flow of water under any temperature condition, and are resistant to debris and hard water. KOHLER faucets save you time, effort and money on each installation.

Our Comparison Opinion:

Moen / Cleveland Faucet Group - Moen makes a variety of faucets and shower fixtures. In terms of quality and styling they rate middle of the line and we install their products for a lot of budget conscience clients and property mangers. However, they are by no means a poorly made product. In fact several of out technicians said that if they were to put a faucet in their kids bathroom they would only use a Moen. From a durability standpoint these faucets will hold up.

Kohler Faucets - Kohler is perhaps the most well known name in plumbing. All of their products, faucets included are well made and last. In terms of faucets Kohler is at the top of the game. There are other higher end brands such as Hansgrohe, Symmons, and others. The only drawback I find to these higher end faucets is that they all eventually wear out due to hard water. No matter how well the faucet is built hard water or worse chemicals in the water such a chlorine will ultimately win. So when it comes times to find parts for the highest end type faucets it can be a real hassle if not impossible. With Kohler the parts are almost always available.

Delta Faucets - Make a good range of faucets. We don't carry their line up but we wouldn't sway anyone away from their products. On the rare occasion that we install a wall mounted faucet, Delta makes a very affordable durable option. Our only caution on Delta is that you watch out for the Home Center plastic models. A lot have the same model numbers and names a contractor grades. We find these home center models to be inferior product.

Hansgrohe, Symmons, etc - Some people love these really high end unique brands of faucets. We don't particularly have any problem with them and we've installed hundreds of them over the years. Our only hang up is product availability and knowledgeable installer availability. We see a lot of these high end faucets install incorrectly.

These brief summaries are our field findings and general opinions. We encourage you to complete your own research. We do not have complete knowledge or practice with all manufactures or models. These opinions are not a guarantee against failures.
